Tony Keller — Consultant

A “lateral thinker” and long time R&D engineer and scientist. At home in most type of circuitry designs and analysis with an outstanding power supply knowledge.
As a 15 years plus patent analyst and reverse engineer, he feels at home in any circuit patents (power supply, video, audio, ….), reverse analysis of IC’s, Accelerometer & Gyroscope circuits, User Interface, mp3 & AAC, WiFi (several standards) and mechanical structures. His creativity in viewing patents in different applications is outstanding. He is holder of 26 granted patent families and 81 disclosures.
Additionally he has been part in many large patent portfolio analysis, selecting the best patents for further processing. For many years he took part in claim review committees either for filing, amending and if necessary for dropping. At last he is a great inventor in many fields and uses this knowledge for improving patent applications during the process.
Tony holds a MSc degree in “Signal processing, Communication technology & Radio-Frequency” from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) and completed post graduate studies in “management & leadership” and “education”.
Luc Tripod — Consultant

Luc has long-standing experience in the creation of patent infringement proofs and the attendance to the corresponding patent licensing talks as technical expert. He has many years of experience in reverse engineering labour on power supplies, consumer electronic and communication products. He is expert in capturing and analysing memory contents on running samples. He provides in-depth knowledge of broadcast and communication standards like DVB, ATSC, ISDB, MPEG‑2, H.264, WiFi, DLNA, DOCSIS und DSL.
Luc has year-long experience as development engineer on power electronics and digital TV technology.
The interest in technical features and devices and his ability to thoroughly analyse patent claims and standards has allowed Luc to identify numerous patent infringements that helped to considerably increase the licensing income of the company he worked for.
Luc holds a MSc degree in communication technology from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) and completed post studies in Intellectual Property at the ETH. He is inventor of five patents on power electronics and digital TV technology.
Rudi Weber — Consultant

Rudi focuses on patent and product analysis for patent infringements, defending patent infringements, and assisting in patent prosecution and licensing.
The identification of potential patent infringements and their demonstration was an important part during his last 15 years, which led to dozens of license agreement settlements. Rudi’s “Reverse Engineering” activities addressed also IC tracing with subsequent circuit analysis. Further, Rudi is not only focused on analysis of lower OSI- layers of various widely used multimedia standards (DVB‑x/-x2, ATSC3.0, DVD, BD, etc.) but also encryption techniques and more.
His industry experiences covers Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and gas analysis sensor technologies. Furthermore, Rudi has realized a Weight in Motion (WIM) feasibility study up to prototype level. He is inventor of several granted patents.
Rudi Weber holds a BA of science in Communications, postgraduate in Chip Design at HSR-Rapperswil and Mobile Communication course at ETH Zurich.
Fabian Schlumberger — Consultant

Passionate engagement for mobile applications and wireless technologies. Fabian has spent intensive 10 years in managing the mobile phone patent discussions. He is well aware of the Smartphone-Wars and knows about the opportunities and risks involved in such fields of disputes.
He consults his clients in a very proactive way. As a technical counsel he participated to many rounds of patent discussions with the Licensees and external Patent Counsels in order to defend his position.
Fabian holds a BA of applied science degree in Electronics (2006) and is an inventor of several patents which were developed in the frame of his work in the area of User-Authorization for mobile devices and Video-conferencing. Fabian is familiar in working with many industry standards such as 3G, 4G (PHY to RRC), MPEG4, WiFi, DVB, etc. and he provides unconventional approaches in order to identify patent infringements. Fabian contributed to SW-Hacking and IP-Traffic manipulation.
Rolf Guldener — Consultant

Rolf is a specialist for memory read-out and content analysis. He extracts a memory dump (eg. with a Logic Analyzer or software executed on the target device) in order to apply his self-programmed content analysis software.
He is an expert for accessing Linux based devices (eg. DTV, STB, Mobile Phones etc.) and SW-hacking.
Rolf is familiar with DVB broadcast technology, especially with interactive HbbTV standard.
Rolf has more than 14 years of experience in patent infringement analysis and documentation. He has testified at the court in Germany to support the attorneys successfully.
Rolf is inventor and co-inventor of several granted patents and holds a BA degree in Electronics (2003).
Stefan Dubach — Consultant

Stefan has worked in the field of consumer devices ever since. Started in 1998 as an apprentice in audio and video electronics, he has achieved his BA of applied science in Telecommunications in the year 2006.
Stefan is familiar with patent, device and technology analysis in the fields of OSD, user interface, hardware, bus systems, memory handling, video compression (MPEG2, MPEG4, HEVC), mechanical implementations and networking technologies, such as WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, LAN and WAN.
Stefan has more than 11 years of experience in patent infringement analysis and documentation and has joined several patent discussions during this time. He also analysed and rated more than 1,500 patents in the frame of multiple patent portfolio reviews.
Stefan is inventor and co-inventor of several granted patents.
